The London Spitfire has been pretty quiet this offseason, with the only move they had made as of very recent being the release of its 2021 roster, which finished toward the bottom of the standings following a 1-15 season.

But, this period of silence has since come to an end, as the team has begun to announce new roster additions, with three new members and one member returning from the 2021 team.

Jamie "Backbone" O'Neill, Owen "provide" Warner, and Gael "Poko" Gouzerch are coming to the team for the first time, with Hadi Daniel "Hadi" Bleinagel returning once again.

While Poko is quite the well-known name in the Overwatch League, as the French tank has previously played for the Philadelphia Fusion since the league began, both Backbone and Provide are OWL rookies, making their first leap from Contenders to the big leagues.

During the final announcement that welcomed Provide to the Spitfire, the team mentioned that this would be its final signing "for now", meaning we can probably look forward to seeing more roster news in the near future.
