Team Liquid has made the official announcement that its mid-laner of the past three years, Nicolaj "Jensen" Jensen, is leaving the esports organisation's League of Legends team. Revealed over Twitter, Team Liquid talked a little about Jensen's impact on the team, before also wishing him the best in his future endeavours.

"We are so thankful for @Jensen for being with us for the our team's most successful years. We won LCS Championships together, ended up in the MSI Finals, and went to Worlds three times. We were lucky to have him for as long as we did and wish him nothing but the best."

As for what is next for Jensen, that has yet to be revealed. But since he is no longer tied to a contract, team's can look to sign the Danish League professional without having to buy him out of Team Liquid.
