The Call of Duty League actually returns in a couple of months, as Activision announced that the first stage of the 2023 season will actually kick off in December this year, rather than in early next year, as was the case for former seasons.

To this end, we're seeing teams making all manners of roster announcements and moves as they gear up for the return of the competitive scene, and the latest to get in on this is the New York Subliners, who has revealed that two of its members from 2022 will be back for 2023.

It's both Paco "HyDra" Rusiewiez and Matthew "KiSMET" Tinsley who are back with the team, meaning we are still waiting to hear who else will be making up this roster going forward, as two spots remain open on the active team. Fortunately, as the Subliners has announced a name each day since October 4, we can likely expect this to continue until the full team has been revealed.

Sledgehammer Games' latest instalment into the long-running shooter series offers up some great improvements, but still feels a bit safe at its core.
