The Boston Uprising has announced the signing of two new players to the organisation ahead of the 2020 Overwatch League season. Announced in a blog post by the Uprising, the signing brings Tae-hee "Jerry" Min and Sang-min "Myunbong" Seo to the team, where both of the two new South Korean players will fit the roles of DPS and support respectively.

Myunbong came from Korean Contenders team 02 Blast, who finished fourth in the last season of the tournament. Throughout that time, he was known for his ability to play Ana and Zenyatta at the highest of levels.

Chris "HuK" Loranger, the GM of Boston Uprising and the President of Gaming for The Kraft Group spoke about the acquisition in the blog post saying; "We are excited to announce Myunbong as our first offseason roster addition. We like what we've seen from him in Contenders and believe he will be a great fit for the Uprising moving forward."

As for Jerry, he has also come from Contenders Korea where he played for Meta Athena, placing seventh overall in the last season. Jerry is known for his proficiency in hitscan and the ability to play characters such as Widowmaker and Tracer to a high level.

"We're excited to welcome Jerry to the Uprising" said GM HuK. "We have been watching his growth in Contenders and think he has the talent needed to play in the Overwatch League."

Due to this being the first set of signings that Boston has announced, we can assume more will be on the near horizon. Until then, be sure to check out what's been happening in Dallas and Toronto.
