Supercell has revealed some of the early plans for the 2021 Clash Royale season. Detailed in a twitter post, the announcement outlines some of what we can expect next year, but the bulk will be expanded on in a much larger degree next week.
First of all, a new global format has been teased that is open to all players, where you can qualify by topping the leaderboards by simply playing the game. What this does seem to suggest is a more open format that doesn't isolate those eligible to compete to just players signed to professional organisations.
We can also expect eight seasonal qualifiers with over $600,000 on the line to be competed for. Likewise, at the end of the season, we can once again look forward to a massive World Finals event, where the best of the best players fight for a piece of a $1 million prize pool.
Even with these only being basic open ended announcements, there is a lot to look forward to next season, which makes the further reveals next week all the more exciting.
