Very recently, Equinox Esports released a bunch of the players from its active Valorant roster, and now, we have an official statement from the organisation, which explains why the team was released.

"Effective immediately, Equinox Esports would like to announce that we have parted ways with our current professional Valorant roster. As an organisation, we are thankful for their time with Equinox, and sincerely wish them the best in their future endeavours.

To our fans: We still intend to compete in Valorant esports but will be shifting our focus moving forward. We will share more details on this front in the days and weeks to come."

As it stands today, Equinox Esports has one player remaining on its active roster, Danny "cute fat boy" Nguyen. We'll have to see what direction the team intends to go in the future, as it looks to rebuild.
