BLAST has expanded its deal with the Chinese streaming giant DouYu to include the exclusive broadcasting rights of the rest of the BLAST Premier season in China, as The Esports Observer reports. The deal will see Chinese Counter-Strike: Global Offensive teams brought further into the BLAST Premier ecosystem, as the tournament organiser looks to further grow its presence in Asia and the country.
The deal will also see DouYu get broadcast rights for the first-ever BLAST Premier qualifier that is being held in China, and will also see Douyu's coverage stretch into other Chinese streaming services such as Huya and Bilibili.
The financials of the deal have not been disclosed as of yet.
Thanks, The Esports Observer.
