Evil Genius 2 shows off new trailer at E3 2019

After a long 15 year hiatus, Evil Genius is back! This world domination strategy game allowed players to take over the world way back in 2004, and is now heading back to our PC screens with a sequel!

The new Pixar-like trailer shows off a heist being pulled off by some sneaky-looking thieves, before zooming out to show an evil overlord controlling the globe. Playing as the overlord, you'll have the ability to upgrade your lair with new tools and gadgets to successfully pull off world domination.

This isn't the first time we've seen more Evil Genius. In 2013, a free-to-play version was launched as an online game. This time around, the developer is keen to express that Evil Genius 2 is a fully fledged sequel.

Closing out the trailer was an option to sign up for a chance at beta access, although no release window for this or the game was announced.
