Evil Geniuses and Heroic are champions of ESL One Cologne 2020

ESL One Cologne 2020, which spanned from August 18-30, came to a close this weekend, and it was Evil Genuises and Heroic that were crowned as champions.

Evil Genuises earned $65,000 after finishing on top of the American Division. To earn its third-consecutive tournament win, the team faced off against Team Liquid and managed to get the upper hand with a 3-2 result. Heroic earned a more handsome figure of $150,000 for dominating the competition within the European Division. The one-sided grand final saw the team topple rivals Team Vitality with a perfect result of 3-0.

Both winning teams are set to make an appearance in the ESL Pro League Season 12.
