Evil Geniuses are the Valorant Champions for 2023

The North American team managed to hold off Paper Rex to take the premier event.

After around three weeks of competition, the 2023 Valorant Champions Tour has now come to a close as the premier Valorant Champions event has wrapped up. Now that this event is in the books and another season has come to an end, we can add that Evil Geniuses has been crowned as the 2023 champion.

The North American organisation managed to overcome Paper Rex in the grand finals in a 3-1 fashion, meaning on top of being dubbed the new champions, Evil Geniuses also went home with $1 million in prize money.

As for what's next for competitive Valorant, now that the season has wrapped up, there will be a collection of smaller offseason tournaments in the lead up to the next season kicking off in late 2023 or early 2024.
