Evil Geniuses gives Valorant pros two options: leave or take a pay cut

Quite a stunning turn of events when they've just won championships.

A few weeks into the offseason, Evil Geniuses has allowed its players to pursue other offers from other teams or take a pay cut in order to stay with EG.

This report comes from the reliable Valorant reporter Max "purest" Katz. Other players for the organisation have made some concerning posts in the past, including Flex player Ethan Arnold who explained his frustrations and how he believed winning barely mattered.

This comes as doubly strange because the team has gone from underdogs to champions, but this isn't the first Valorant team to do something so strange. The Guard's players left after the organization refused to sign a partnership agreement with Riot after winning Ascension.

It seems that even world championships won't win you job security in Valorant nowadays. What do you think of this?
