A total of 12 old Street Fighter games are releasing on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC in May as the Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection. Capcom invited a few outlets to try the game for the first time and learn a few new details about the title.
The games included are based off the arcade originals. In the selection screen, you can learn about the original release date and the hardware it launched on, as you can see in the screenshots taken by Game Informer. There are some options when it comes to how the games are displayed: TV and arcade filters, with or without borders and image stretching.
The Nintendo Switch version includes an extra mode only possible in tabletop format. It is called Tournament Battle, the same Tournament Battle found in the Super Street Fighter 2 cabinets. It requires four Switch consoles connected via WI-FI, each with a copy of the game running on it. In this mode, up to eight players (CPU can fill empty spaces) play a cup moving from one console to the other depending on who wins and loses.
