Ubisoft has released update 1.03 for Far Cry Primal, and at the moment it's available exclusively on PlayStation 4, but it will also debut on PC and Xbox One very soon. This new update adds the new Survivor mode, a mode that makes the game much more challenging.
With Survivor mode players have to keep an eye on several crucial aspects in order to keep their character alive, such as the stamina bar and atmospheric effects, both of which influence the character's health.
As Thomas Simon, Far Cry Primal's game director, explained: "The keystone of that survival mode is the change in the exploration, crafting, and difficulty of the game to make it even more realistic. After that, there are options the player can activate to go further."
In addition to this, this new patch adds the permadeath feature at any difficulty level. The update weighs in at around 870 MB, and we recommend you download it, because the 1.03 patch also fixes some bugs and minor issues in the game.
