Fear the Wolves early access gets delayed

We can expect it "later this summer".

Fear the Wolves was supposed to be released on early access today, July 18, but Focus Home Interactive and Vostok Games have announced a last-minute delay, except this time there's no specific date except for a "later this summer" release.

The delay was decided upon after the feedback from the closed beta trial, something Vostok Games deems as "a vital part of the game's ongoing development". The studio also revealed that the closed beta will remain online until the early access version release, and with the extra time and feedback the studio hopes to "further improve several aspects of the game".

In a nutshell, Fear the Wolves is a "Battle Royale with the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. DNA", due to Vostok Games being formed by several developers from the classic game. Were you planning to get stuck in today?
