In a chart so static it would make a grown man weep (I'm not crying, honest), FIFA 14 is once again the best selling game in the UK. It's the fourth week in a row at the top of the charts for EA's game, and retains its place despite a 14% drop in sales.
Call of Duty: Ghosts and Battlefield 4 are bunkered down in second and third, while Lego Marvel Super Heroes and Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag were at least interesting enough to swap places in fourth and fifth respectively.
The rest of the top ten games just shuffled themselves around like one almighty Rubik's Cube, with the exception of Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Z which muscled its way into tenth at the expense of Aliens: Colonial Marines. Incidentally, Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Z (Xbox 360, PS3 and Vita) was the best selling debut for a Dragon Ball title since 2009.
Other than that the top twenty is in much the same state as it was last week. Two zombie games (Dead Island: Riptide and Dead Rising 3) made way for the aforementioned Dragon Ball Z and the resurgent Gran Turismo 6, which climbed back into the top twenty.
As an interesting aside, Sports Interactive's Miles Jacobson confirmed on Twitter that if top selling PC game Football Manager stays top of the PC retail chart for another three weeks "it will have most unbroken weeks at no.1 in the UK boxed PC chart since records began."
