FIFA 15 on PS4 unplayable when online

As FIFA 15 becomes available in the US, complaints are starting to pile up, mainly regarding the PlayStation 4 version. After players connect to the EA Sports servers, the game becomes unplayable, acting as if there is "lag", even in the menus and solo offline modes.

Gamereactor has already encountered this problem with the game's demo, and we can confirm we found the same issue on the final version. Apparently, players also complained about a similar problem regarding the PS4 version of NHL 15. The solution, until EA solves this issue, is to disconnect your PSN profile... the drawback is that this makes it impossible to play Ultimate Team Mode and well... anything online.
