Just as we did the other day during the Uncovered event in LA (which you can watch in full below) French site JeuxVideo interviewed Hajime Tabata, during which they asked him about the possibility of a PC version.

"I'm quite positive about the idea of developing a PC version, but I would like to make a very different project if possible. The reason I'm interested is that a PC version would propel the game to another technical level."

Tabata-San then added: "I have in mind a version of Final Fantasy XV that is more technically developed. This version could incorporate things that we were forced to abandon because of the limitations of home consoles. With the PC, this would be an opportunity to release a version far superior in terms of quality and tech."

The message is clear: Hajime Tabata wants to develop a version of Final Fantasy XV for PC that will use the potential of the PC hardware rather than just port the existing version straight from console.

Final Fantasy XV is set to release on September 30 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

REVIEW. Written by Jonas Mäki

"It feels like the series should feel, but adapted for a modern audience, and we're so glad that Tabata pulled this massive project together in the way that he did."
