Sites such as Polygon have had access to the definitive build of Final Fantasy XV that will be submitted to certification very soon (if that's not done already). The shows the technical improvements the game has gotten since the much criticised showing at E3. The gameplay captured with the final game shows the same first 45 minutes of the adventure that the publisher already shared on its official channels, but with noticeable differences in the visuals.
The team cited the need to delay FFXV in order to improve its performance without relying on a Day 1 update patch too heavily. The latest gameplay shows a much more stable framerate, more stability and foliage, improved camera and technical enhancements to areas such as textures, models and movement smoothness. Square Enix asserts these improvements are to be found in the standard game and not only with the PS4 Pro version.
Final Fantasy XV now enters certification and duplication process, and thus will be ready to launch in time for November 29 at long last.
