Valve recently unveiled that the Paris Major would be the last Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Major, and that following it would be the first Counter-Strike 2 Major sometime in March 2024.

Well now PGL has shared a ton of extra details about this upcoming event, and revealed that it will be held in Copenhagen, Denmark all between March 17-31. We're told that fans will be able to head to the Royal Arena in the country for the tournament, and that it will see 24 of the best teams in the world all competing for a share of a monster $1.25 million prize pool.

Not only will this be the first CS2 Major, but it will be the first that Denmark has ever hosted as well, despite the country having a very rich and decorated history in the competitive Counter-Strike scene.

Tickets for this tournament are said to be available soon.
