The Hollywood Reporter reports that Warner Bros. have secured the movie rights for Five Nights at Freddy's and will be produced by Roy Lee of Vertigo Entertainment as well as Seth Grahame-Smith and David Katzenberg of KatzSmith Productions.

Five Nights at Freddy's is a popular horror point-and-click adventure that has seen three games released in a very short timespan - the first one came out in August. The concept is that as a security guard you must survive the night at a pizza place as the animatronic robots come to life.

The project is currently "out to writers", meaning the studio is letting writers pitch their scripts for the project.
