Fnatic has made the decision to move Domagoj 'Doma' Fancev to the inactive portion of its Valorant roster, following the team failing to make it out of the quarter-finals in the Champions 2021 event, which concluded recently.

Revealed in a blog post, Fnatic has mentioned that it is looking to take the team in a new direction, with mention of this being the first of a variety of changes that will see the organisation creating a line-up set to achieve as much success as possible.

"It comes with a heavy heart that we say goodbye to Doma," said Collin "CoJo" Johnson, Fnatic Valorant team director. "From being the star of SUMN FC, to the star of Fnatic, to showing his selflessness by switching to other roles so that players like Derke could take the spotlight - he has really gone through quite the journey. He was always a light and funny member of the team and brought a lot of levity and contributed greatly to the team's atmosphere. He will be a great addition to wherever he ends up next and bring that bald buff along with him"

Doma will be heading to the open transfer market, where he will be trialling for other teams ahead of the next season of the Valorant Champions Tour.
