Karl Magnus Troedsson has spent a decade and a half working out of the Stockholm offices of EA DICE, from being a producer on RalliSport Challenge 1 & 2, via a role as senior producer on Battlefield: Bad Company, he went on to serve as executive producer and later became general manager and CEO of EA DICE before taking on a role as executive roles (VP of Group Strategy at EA) managing several studios and projects.

Yesterday, Troedsson spent his last working day at the EA DICE offices in Stockholm and today it was announced that he's joining new publisher (or "unpublisher") Raw Fury Games as its fifth member.

Troedsson is joining as a partner and co-owner, but will be titleless as is the practice of Raw Fury. In a blog post, Raw Fury stated:

"We're going to flat out say this right now — KM is not joining to make us corporate. He is coming to Raw Fury to follow his passion for indie games, to help the developers while working with a small group of ambitious friends (yes, that's us)."

Troedsson has been deeply involved with the indie initiative Stugan, and another member of Raw Fury - Gordon van Dyke - worked with him at EA DICE for years.

Raw Fury published indie hit Kingdom (coming soon to Xbox One), and adventure game Kathy Rain, and their next game Gonner is due out when it's ready.

Kingdom
Kingdom scored Raw Fury their first hit.

REVIEW. Written by Bengt Lemne

"It's wonderfully addictive and with a bit of patching and tweaking it could be even better."
