Considering Epic Games develops Fortnite and owns Rocket League developer Pysonix, it's probably not all too surprising to hear that the World Championships for the respective esports scenes for those two games will take place at the same location and back-to-back.

As we recently told you about the Rocket League Championship Series World Championship being set for the Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas between September 10-15, we can also add that the Fortnite Championship Series World Championship will be held in the same venue in the same place just before.

That's right, between September 7-8, you can look forward to seeing the best Fortnite players from around the world battling for a slice of a $2.002 million prize pool. Epic has not yet announced ticketing information, so stay tuned for that.
