The mobile version of battle royale phenomenon Fortnite seems to be way more successful on iOS than PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds (aka PUBG). Data analyst from Sensor Tower estimate that Fortnite is raking in five times as much money as PUBG on mobile during its first week using via in-app-purchases of cosmetic items. The numbers they state claim that players outside China "spent approximately $700,000 in the iOS version of PUBG Mobile during its first week" being available. "This was about one-fifth of the estimated $3.7 million spent in Fortnite in the same set of countries during its initial seven days on Apple's platform." The analyst claim that PUBG Mobile earned about $1 million in its first week across both platforms, outside China.

The mobile version of PUBG Mobile got its in-app-purchase a week ago on the App Store. By then it had already been installed 22 million times by iOS players outside China.

Are you playing either of these games on your phone? Or do you rather play them on PC or a console?
