Storm Island expansion for Forza Horizon 2 just launched, so we quickly put ourselves behind a Thrustmaster TX Ferrari 458 Italia Edition racing wheel and took a ride around the new roads. We of course captured those first minutes in the following gameplay clips for your viewing pleasure:

Storm Island free roam fun

Right after our arrival we drive around freely on Isola della Tempesta, the new extreme weather/terrain DLC map for the open world racer on Xbox One. Even if today was just a bit windy and misty, we truly felt the unforgiving terrain in hands via Force Feedback.

Forza Horizon 2 Storm Island expansion gets really extreme with its very first event. Risky jumps, slippery mud, heavy rain and wind, deep darkness, annoying obstacles and rough road (along with a rather inconvenient tree) makes it difficult (and fun!) for us to en route to a podium finish with our wild, new Ford Ranger.
