The rumoured free-to-play version of Pro Evolution Soccer 2016 first outed by the Australian ratings board has been confirmed by IGN. The free-to-play version arrives on December 8 (PS3, PS4) and includes seven teams (incl. Bayern Munich, Juventus, AS Roma, Brazil and France) in exhibition mode, a full training mode and the full MyClub mode. It's a curious package, but clearly Konami are hoping that an influx of free players will spend real money in MyClub mode.

"It's even more troublesome to be overly negative once you get playing, because as per usual, Pro Evolution Soccer offers up supremely playable digital football."
