One of Summer of Arcade's hottest-looking titles, God game From Dust, was originally designed as a RTS, producer Guillaume Bunier has admitted.
Talking to GRTV, the creator explains that originally you had direct control over the tribespeople who you have to protect from natural disasters, with the game incorporating a micro-management system.
However, as development continued, the studio realised how much fun it'd be to give players control over the team's terrain editor to shape the lands to their design.
