FTW Summer Showdown revealed for September 12

It has been revealed that an all-new female-only Valorant tournament, known as the FTW Summer Showdown, will be arriving on September 12. The competition is hosted by Nerd Street Gamers and Spectacor Gaming and has a total prize pool of $10,000.

The competition will see eight competing teams fight it out within two separate groups. The top finishing teams from these groups will then progress to a playoff stage, and the playoffs will take place within a single-elimination bracket. The competition is said to the first female exclusive Valorant tournament, and we expect it will be the first of many to come.

Registration for the qualifier is open now and can be accessed here. Be warned though, as hopeful participants only have until September 4 to complete the registration process.
