The 2023 League of Legends EMEA Championship is now over. After months of competition spread out over multiple splits and additional tournaments, the LEC is now wrapped for 2023, meaning all eyes are on the World Championship set for South Korea from next month.

But back to the LEC for the time being as this past weekend saw the Season Finals conclude, meaning we now have a victor to talk about and know who has claimed the top seed in the LEC for Worlds 2023.

After managing to hold off Fnatic in the finals, G2 Esports cemented itself as the team to beat in Europe this year, and has claimed the number one seed for Worlds from the LEC region, on top of €65,000 in prize money.

Due to losing to G2 in the finals, Fnatic ended up with the second LEC seed for Worlds and €40,000 in prize money. Coming in third was MAD Lions, who went home with €25,000 and the third LEC Worlds seed, all while Team BDS netted the Worlds Qualifying Series seed and €15,000 in prize money. Each of the remaining LEC teams are now finished for the 2023 season, as they will not be attending Worlds 2023.
