The esports organisation G2 Esports has entered into a partnership with the esports division of Tier One Entertainment, known as Blacklist International. The partnership will see the two working together on a variety of activations and branded series, but will also revolve around a League of Legends: Wild Rift team that is being supported by both parties.
The team will be known as G2 Blacklist and will be operating out of the Philippines, and will sport the following roster.
With Hans "WUrahhhh" Solano as the head coach and Keiya "XDXP" Laureta as the assistant coach.
"We're combining the best of the East and the West to take a new Esports competition by storm," said G2 Esports CEO Alban Dechelotte. "As two major winning organisations, the G2 and Blacklist partnership is one that was created with big ambitions. Blacklist is a winning team, full of successful people that have helped them dominate the mobile esports market. Asia is where Wild Rift is set to succeed and we wanted to be part of it and bring a G2 team to our fans in the region."
The team will be competing in the Phase 2 Qualifiers of the Wild Rift League Asia tomorrow (Friday, February 17).
