We had a brief conversation with Feral Cat Den's Jeremy Abel at PAX East to learn more about the gorgeous looking adventure game that is Genesis Noir.

"Genesis Noir is a kind of poetic adventure game set before, during and after the Big Bang", explains Abel. "You have to try and stop the expansion of the universe to save the women you love."

The unique art style of Genesis Noir is certainly part of its appeal, and Abel had this to say of its conception:

"We come from the world of advertisement, animation, and motion graphics which uses a lot of kind of unique visual styles to try and communicate ideas really quickly. Cause they're like 30 second TV ads or little animations on websites. So you kind of use the visual style as metaphor for the storytelling itself."

The game is still some ways off its intended release (December 2019 or "around there") and it's heading to PC and Mac, but talks about console versions are happening.
