This weekend saw the latest entry in the ongoing Virtual Grand Prix series, with competitive races involving F1 drivers and other popular sportspeople continuing to stand in for the real thing as the world continues to stay in lockdown due to the coronavirus health crisis.

The Azerbaijan Virtual GP was this weekend won by Williams driver George Russell, making it his third win on the digital track after similar victories in Monaco and Spain. He finished ahead of Alex Albon and Esteban Gutierez on the Baku City Circuit and it doesn't look anyone is capable of stopping him from winning the title at the final race in Montreal next weekend.

The next (and final) race will take place on Sunday evening and, as in previous races, it will be played on Codemasters' F1 2019. This year's entry, F1 2020, is out on July 7, and you can see more of the Deluxe Schumacher Edition of that game via the trailer below.

REVIEW. Written by Graham Bellars

"We didn't think F1 2019 could add much more, especially in such a short time frame, however, Codemasters has made pole position yet again."
