Google has hired Richard Marks (check out our own interview with him from 2015 below), a former senior research engineer who helped create PlayStation VR at Sony and also the PlayStation Move controllers. Google has confirmed hiring the profiled engineer to VentureBeat. Back in January 2018, the US tech giant hired Phil Harrison, the former boss of Sony's game research and development. Google is also said to have secured themselves plenty of big names in gaming including the likes of PlayStation Home inventor Jack Buser and Xbox Live Arcade inventor Greg Canessa. All this adds to the strong rumours that Google is planning something huge gaming related (codenamed Yeti), presumed to be some sort of streaming device.
