Devolver Digital has managed to shake up E3 each year with its unique brand of satire, anarchy and gore - and 2019 is no exception. The company's self-made cinematic universe has expanded this year in the form of a Nintendo Direct parody.

Fictional character Nina Struthers is back but barely living as the conference takes place inside her mind, bringing in a slew of new indie announcements with a flavouring of self-awareness. Here's a complete round-up of everything going on inside her corporately screwed-on head:

The Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout trailer showed off what appears to be a colourfully competitive online multiplayer title from Mediatonic. Hordes of contestants are pitted in a gameshow-like obstacle course battling through physics-based gameplay to avoid elimination and reach the end of the stage. It promises up to 100 competitors for a manic multiplayer experience.

Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout releases for PlayStation 4 and PC in early 2020.

Completely on-brand for Devolver comes an 8-in-1 collection of 'bootleg' games. These smaller titles are ripped off versions of the publisher's own releases, including the likes of Hotline Milwaukee, Luftrousers and Enter the Gun Dungeon.

The Devolver Bootleg launcher is currently available on Steam for £3.95 (that's a maddening 1% discount).

Carrion, a newly-announced gore-fuelled game, is being developed by Phobia Game Studio. Described as a "reserve psychological horror," the title has you play as an amorphous alien-like creature who's escaped the confines of humanity and is on a path to destroy the facility which held it prisoner for so long.

Carrion is due to release sometime in 2020.

Enter the Gungeon: House of the Gundead is a real arcade cabinet. In fact, this one's not actually a joke, as Devolver unveiled a new arcade game based on the Enter the Gungeon universe. House of the Gundead is an original two-player light gun arcade cabinet title which will available to purchase for a whopping $5,000.

Wealthy personal collectors and businesses alike are able to pre-order a cabinet from Griffin Aerotech now.

Finally, Picnic Panic is an upcoming expansion for retro platformer The Messenger. The trailer takes place in a tropical setting, showing off a montage of ninja-slicing platforming action in a series of new levels and boss battles.

The DLC will launch for free on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and PC on July 11, 2019.
