Yamashiroya, a massive toy store spanning 7 (or is it 8?) floors just south of the Ueno Station in Tokyo, Japan, recently featured an exhibit dedicated to Kirby. It included various merchandise and games produced during the pink blobs long career (some of which could be purchased, while most where locked inside display cases. There were also some drawings and sketches from production, that sadly could not be photographed. But still these images will give you some idea of the exhibit that was hosted on the 6th floor of Yamashiroya between September 9-25.
The most recent Kirby title, the Nintendo 3DS exclusive Kirby: Planet Robobot was released in June.
