The Ultimate Edition of Injustice: Gods Among Us is heading to Playstation 4 on November 29, it has been announced by Warner Bros., although there's no mention of an Xbox One version.
The package will include all the downloadable content released for the superhero-themed brawler, and will be available when the PS4 launches at the end of next month. PS3, Xbox 360, PC and PS Vita versions are set to be released at the same time.
According to the announcement, the base game and accompanying DLC is valued at "more than €89". Warner Bros. are setting a recommended retail price of €59.99 for the PS4 version, with other versions pegged at €39.99, which represents a fairly significant difference in price between the next-gen and current-gen versions of the game. We're expecting UK prices to be fairly similar, and so it begs the question: will the next-gen version of Injustice be worth an additional £20?
Update
UK prices have now landed, here they are direct from the horse's mouth:
"Valued at more than £79, the game will be available at a suggested retail price of £49.99 for PS4 system, PS3 system and Xbox 360 £29.99 for Windows PC and £29.99 for PS Vita."
