We've been enjoying JBL's gaming products for a while, but this is the first time they've combined all the features we know and love from their top-of-the-line headsets into a completely wireless unit. This means that, with the Quantum 910, you get not only JBL's signature sound and ergonomics, but also their own head-tracking technology for gaming, now free of cords if you wish.

In this video, we show you the product from different angles, its several benefits, and some of the situations in which it has made or gaming life easier and more exciting:

The most unique and innovative feature has to do with how the Quantum 910 registers the slightest movement in a very detailed way. The built-in head-tracking sensors, together with the QuantumSPHERE 360 technology, enhance the 7.1 spatial audio on PC and offer competitive advantage, as it provides players with accurate position awareness of both their avatar and the elements surrounding them. In other words, hardware and software work together to create an immersive 360-degree soundscape, making users pinpoint where other players or hazards are located in the virtual world more precisely and naturally.

If you play wireless, you don't need to worry about lagging sound effects anymore, as the included USB A and C low-latency dongle means instant response no matter your gaming device of choice. You can always link the headset to a range of different devices via Bluetooth for more laid-back experiences, but the 2.4 GHz wireless connection is the way to go when your reflexes are being put to the test.

The Quantum 910 sports gaming-specific Active Noise Canceling, which has proven to be quite useful in different scenarios and with different genres. For example, you can cancel out fans from stressed gaming towers, or distracting sounds at events and competitions.

Are you a team player? Ok, now we're talking. Accompanying the headphones, the flip-up boom microphone allows for clear voice chatting with your teammates, for example via Discord.

By using JBL's QuantumENGINE software on PC you can tweak and configure everything, including ANC, equalisation, spatial sound, head tracking, and of course RGB lighting, all with different profiles for specific uses. Does that mean that the head-tracking tech is only available on PC via the QuantumENGINE? Not at all, as the QuantumSPATIAL 360 technology adds head-tracked spatialisation to a 2-channel signal, which comes in handy for 3D games from different sources.

Besides, JBL Dual Source can keep the unit connected to both your phone (via Bluetooth) and the gaming device (via USB) at the same time, allowing you to answer calls, while the company's signature audio supported by the Hi-Res certified 50 mm drivers gives for both bombastic explosions and immersive music listening sessions. And yes, even music gets a spatial head-tracked dimension if you want.

With this versatility and its 39-hour battery life (you can charge as you keep playing), the Quantum 910 has become our main gaming headset for many different purposes, no matter the genre or the device. Do you dare to dive in?
