Riot Games has announced that it has extended its deal with Kia to see the automotive brand regarded as the League of Legends EMEA Championship's main partner for the 2023 season. This extension will mean the two parties have worked together for five years straight.

This extension will see Kia continuing to present the weekly Mic Check series, as well as being involved in a whole host of in-game giveaways over the year. To add to this, you'll continue to see Kia's logo on LEC branding and in-game during LEC broadcasts.

"As a league, we're constantly striving to innovate and bring the best experiences possible to our fans," said Eva Suarez, Head of Partnerships Esport EMEA. "Our partnership with Kia, which strives for innovation in everything it does, will allow us to level-up our offering and bring our followers incredible experiences throughout the season."

The LEC officially started this weekend when the 2023 season's Winter Split kicked off.
