L.A. Noire was one of our favourite games of the last console generation, and therefore we were pleasantly surprised when it was revealed that the rumours were true and the noir-themed open-world adventure was being remastered and re-released on PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.

The VR version of the game being made with the HTC Vive in mind was a surprise, but the announcement that the game will be coming to Nintendo Switch also raised a few eyebrows.

It's a surprise with a twist, however, after it was revealed that the version of the game heading to Nintendo's platform is going to be a full £10 more expensive than its counterparts on other platforms, with retailer Game listing it at £44.99 (€49.99), whereas the PS4 and Xbox One versions will cost a more respectable £34.99 (€39.99).

Will the unique functionality of the Switch version make it the definitive L.A. Noire experience and justify the higher price? We'll find out when it lands on November 14.
