LCS issues statement about poorly received TSM segment

Recently, the League of Legends Championship Series has been in the firing line for an aired segment of a recent broadcast that touched on and tackled the troubled history of the TSM esports organisation. The segment looked to highlight the harassment and legal issues that have faced TSM as of late, and ultimately this segment was met with a lot of backlash from fans and TSM alike.

Following up to this, the LCS has now published a statement where it has apologised for the segment and announced that it "did not meet our own standards for content", and that it was "a miss from us".

The LCS has also stated that it will be applying a "sharper filter" on its editorial works going forward and that this segment was a "team effort" that was not the fault of one individual. This last part of the statement is aimed at broadcast talent "LeTigress" who has faced a lot of backlash for the segment so far.
