As the League of Legends Mid-Season Invitational comes to a close this weekend, Riot Games has already turned its attention to the near future, and has announced the full dates for the League of Legends EMEA Championship Summer Split and Season Finals.

As noted in a blog post, we're told that the Summer Split will start on June 17 and run until July 30. This will then be followed by the Season Finals, which kick off on August 19 and conclude on September 10.

While the Summer Split will see all LEC teams competing, the Season Finals will only feature the top six teams from the region, with spots being awarded to the Winter, Spring, and Summer Split champions, and the three next highest points earners of the year. Teams will want to be in attendance at this event, as the winner, runner-up, and third placing team here will all qualify for Worlds 2023, starting in October.

The finale of the Season Finals will also be held in-person in Montpellier in France, with fans able to attend this event between September 8-10.
