Life is Strange: Before the Storm's trophy list was published yesterday, and it's very similar to the one in Life is Strange. Complete episodes and spray some optional graffiti is pretty much all you have to do. Except for the one at the very end, that is.

The last trophy (or achievement, if you're on Xbox One) on the list tasks you with finishing the episode called "Farewell". What's the problem, we hear you ask? Well, this episode isn't part of the base game, and for the moment can only be obtained by purchasing the game's Deluxe Edition.

As you can imagine, some people weren't too pleased about this turn of events, but Square Enix was quick to react, sending this statement to Push Square:

"This was a mistake on our side, and not our intention to gate the Platinum Trophy via the optional bonus episode in the Deluxe [Edition]. We've already started speaking to the first parties about rectifying this."

Life is Strange: Before the Storm is the prequel to Dontnod's episodic adventure series, and the first entry in this origins story is launching on PC, PS4 and Xbox One on August 31. You can read our recent hands-on preview by clicking in this direction.
