Slack is getting ChatGPT integration

ChatGPT has largely taken the world by storm. Allowing users to essentially generate anything they'd like through text, the AI has only grown more popular as more people have realised its potential.

Now, Slack, the workplace messaging service, is using ChatGPT to help summarise conversations, research and draft messages, and more to help save time in the working day.

It might seem a bit dystopian to have ChatGPT sort out human interaction with your colleagues for you, but Slack is only introducing the AI in a beta format, and can be used for customers as well as employees in a company.

"The ChatGPT app for Slack deeply integrates the power of OpenAI's cutting edge large language models into Slack's conversational interface," said Slack CPO Noah Desai Weiss.
