The latest Overwatch League team to provide an update on team contract statuses is none other than the London Spitfire. Unlike certain teams this offseason, the Spitfire will be maintaining a bunch of its players, but a number of names will be either leaving the team or allowed to explore the free agency market.

The four players who will be sticking around for the 2023 season will be Jamie "Backbone" O'Neill, Hadi "Hadi" Bleinagel, Oliver "Admiral" Vahar, and Landon "Landon" McGee. With coaches Christopher "ChrisTFer" Graham and Xavier "CommanderX" Hardy also tapped for next season thanks to being on the second year of their contracts.

As for who is leaving the Spitfire, Gael "Poko" Gouzerch, Johannes "Shax" Nielsen, and Emir "Kaan" Okumus are moving on, while William "SparkR" Andersson will be allowed to explore free agency.

No doubt we'll hear more about how the Spitfire intends to fill out its roster for the 2023 season over the coming months.
