The London Spitfire Overwatch League team has been caught in some hot water over the past few days, as a recently leaked VOD video of its practice matches showed two of its members making highly inappropriate comments.

It was both Hadi "Hadi" Bleinagel and what seems to be the unannounced player of Robert "Skairipa" Lupsa who were making jokes about rape in the match, and following this incident, the Spitfire has now released a statement about how it intends to address the situation.

The Spitfire has stated: "There are zero excuses for this kind of behaviour. This does not reflect the organisational beliefs of the London Spitfire in any shape or form. We'd like to apologise to the community at large and promise to work with our players to help them grow to make sure this never happens again."

As for how it will be ensuring such a thing, the Spitfire concluded with: "We are taking immediate action as a result of these events. The players involved will be partaking in sensitivity training administered by a professional."
