The fourth and final Call of Duty League Major of the 2022 season is now in the books. That means all eyes are on the Champs Weekend set to start on August 4, but before that does take place, it's worth noting who the actual victors were for this tournament and likewise who has qualified for Champs.

It was the Los Angeles Thieves who ended up taking the Major after defeating the home and hosting team New York Subliners 5-3 in the finals. The impressive part about this result is that the Thieves had to go through the elimination bracket to get to the finals, and had to even beat the Atlanta Faze in the elimination finals to once again face the Subliners (the team who knocked them into the elimination round) again in the grand finals.

This result means we now know the eight teams that have qualified and will participate in the Champs Weekend. The first batch of games is as follows.

  • Atlanta Faze vs New York Subliners

  • London Royal Ravens vs. Seattle Surge

  • OpTic Texas vs. Toronto Ultra

  • Los Angeles Thieves vs. Boston Breach

All of these first games will take place on August 4, so be sure to catch the action as it unfolds here.

REVIEW. Written by Eirik Hyldbakk Furu

Sledgehammer Games' latest instalment into the long-running shooter series offers up some great improvements, but still feels a bit safe at its core.
