The fourth and penultimate Major in the 2023 Call of Duty League season has already concluded. Despite only being four months into 2023, the CDL is looking to kickoff its fifth and final Major in early May, which will then lead into the Championship Weekend in mid-June.

But back to the former, as we now have a victor to report on in regard to Major IV, and this sees the reigning CDL champions back on top, as the Los Angeles Thieves ended up defeating the OpTic Texas to claim the tournament.

The Thieves beat OpTic 4-2, after securing their spot in the Grand Finals by defeating OpTic in the Winners Finals earlier in the day. This meant that OpTic had to survive the Elimination Finals where Atlanta Faze was waiting to be able to earn a slot in the Grand Finals for another stab at the Thieves. Ultimately OpTic made short work of Faze, in a 3-0 series, and faced the Thieves again, which ended up being an unsuccessful showing for them.

This result puts the Thieves back on top and dubbed as the team to beat, as we get into the final stretches of the 2023 season.
