Lost Planet on Nintendo 3DS

Capcom are not just working on Lost Planet 3 (in development at Spark Unlimited), but also on another game set in the Lost Planet universe called EX Troopers, according to Andriasang. The game should be considered a spin off to the main series and will appear on Nintendo 3DS and Playstation 3 (presumably as a downloadable title), later this year.

In EX Troopers we will get acquainted with Bren Turner, who is the new protagonist, the female snow pirate TeeKee who can communicate with the Akrid, as well as Vital Suiten Gingira that apparently is in possession of a conscious mind.

The game will have a somewhat younger audience in mind, and the story will be told through manga-esque cutscenes.
