Mafia III was officially unveiled during Gamescom this month and came with a 2016 release window. Now publisher Take-Two has revealed that the game won't launch until the company's next fiscal year, meaning that the game is planned for release between April 1st and December 31st 2016. To be honest, we'd have been very surprised if it'd been any earlier, and we expect the final date to be closer to the end of the year.
We witnessed a hands-off demonstration of the game at Gamescom, and came away quite impressed.
