Mario & Luigi game announced

One of the many big announcements coming out of Nintendo Direct this afternoon was the reveal of Mario & Luigi: Dream Team - the next game in the popular Mario & Luigi action-RPG series.

The game was revealed by Satoru Iwata as we got to see a sleeping Luigi on screen. Mario runs around in Luigi's dreams and by interacting with the sleeping Luigi you will be able to affect what goes on in the dream. The game will feature platform jumping, and the Paper Mario-like combat we previously seen. Mario & Luigi: Dream Team is target for release on Nintendo 3DS this fall.
